The short version
- The free trial lasts 30 days and needs a card. You're not charged until it ends, and if you cancel before then you pay nothing.
- After the trial you pay per user in your workspace: £10 every 30 days, or £96 a year. Guests are free.
- You can cancel any time. Your content belongs to you.
- Use Do lawfully and keep your sign-in details safe.
1. Who we are
Do is provided by Businlog ("we", "us"). In these terms, "you" means the company or organisation that signs up for a workspace, and the person who signs up on its behalf confirms they are allowed to accept these terms for it. You can contact us at hello@businlog.com.
2. Your workspace
When you sign up, we create a private workspace for your company at the address you choose (for example acme.businlog.com), with its own separate database. The person who signs up is the account owner and manages billing at businlog.com.
You decide who joins your workspace and what they can see. You're responsible for the people you invite, including guests, and for what they do in the workspace.
We may decline or change a workspace address if it is misleading, offensive or uses someone else's name or trade mark.
3. Free trial
New workspaces start with a 30-day free trial. You need to add a payment card to start the trial. We won't charge the card during the trial. When the trial ends, your subscription starts and your card is charged automatically, unless you cancel before the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing.
4. Prices and billing
- Monthly plan: £10 per user, billed every 30 days.
- Yearly plan: £96 per user, billed once a year.
- A user is any member of your workspace. People who join through a guest link are free.
- Your bill is based on the number of users in your workspace, so it changes when you add or remove people.
- Offer codes apply as described when you use them, and can't be exchanged for cash.
- Payments are taken by card through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
If we change our prices, we'll email the account owner at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
If a payment fails, we'll let you know and give you time to update your card. If it still isn't paid, we may pause your workspace until it is.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page. When you cancel a paid plan, it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your workspace is paused. We don't give refunds for part-used periods, except where the law requires it.
A paused workspace can be reopened by subscribing again. If you'd like your workspace and its data deleted, email us and we'll delete it.
6. Your content
Everything you and your team put into Do (tasks, files, whiteboards, messages and so on) belongs to you. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so that we can run the service for you. We don't sell it and we don't use it for advertising.
You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including any personal data about your staff or customers. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
7. Using Do responsibly
Please don't use Do to break the law, to store or share content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights, to send spam, to try to get into other people's workspaces, to interfere with the service, or to resell it without our agreement. If you do, we may suspend the workspace. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
Keep sign-in links, passcodes, passwords and passkeys safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone has got into your account.
8. The service
We work hard to keep Do running, fast and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may need to take it offline for maintenance, and we'll try to do that at quiet times. We improve Do over time and may change or remove features. If we remove something important you rely on, we'll tell you in advance.
Calls, push notifications and email depend on your devices, browsers, networks and third-party services, which we don't control.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data that you could reasonably have avoided (for example by keeping your own copies of important files). Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters, we'll email the account owner before it takes effect. If you keep using Do after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to sort it out.
