How the directory works
What does “active” mean?
Each listing shows when its owner last updated it or pressed “I’m still active” on their manage page. You’ll see Active today, this week or this month. After 30 days without a check-in a listing drops off the default view (tick “Show inactive” to see it), and after 180 days it leaves the public site altogether. So the people you find are people likely to reply.
How does the ranking work?
“Top ranked” adds up a few things we can check: whether the listing is verified or featured by our team, how recently its owner was active, how complete it is (a proper bio, links to their work, tools and years of experience) and whether they’re taking work now. Nobody can pay to rank higher. You can also sort by recent activity, newest or A–Z.
Is the directory free?
Yes, for everyone. It costs nothing to browse, contact someone or list yourself, and we take no commission on work you agree. You deal with each other directly. We run it because good AI projects need good people, and some of them end up running their projects in Do.
How do I get listed?
Fill in the short form on the List yourself page: who you are, what you do, your strongest skills and where people can see your work. We review every submission by hand, usually within two working days. Listings that are vague, off-topic or look like advertising are turned down.
How do I edit or remove my listing?
When you submit, we show you a private manage link once. Save it: it’s the only way in, because there are no accounts and we don’t send links by email. From that link you can edit your listing, confirm you’re still active or delete it for good. If you’ve lost the link, contact us from the email address on your listing.
What does the verified badge mean?
It means our team has checked that the person or agency is who they say they are and that the work they link to is genuinely theirs. It isn’t a reference or a guarantee of quality, so still ask for examples, speak to past clients and agree the scope in writing before work starts. If the owner later changes their name, their links or whether they’re listed as a person or an agency, the badge comes off until we’ve checked again.
